My favorite pans! I've bought pans from this seller a few times before. The magnets are incredibly strong so the pans stay snug when the drag of your brush pulls on them. Also shipping from Canada to the US was very reasonable.

I have a COUPLE Alchemist X palettes (I think I have an addiction), but the Air Palette might be my favorite yet! What do I love? The quality is great, the mixing surface is just like ceramic, I like the one large mixing surface vs the multiple surfaces, it is so nice and thin yet still sturdy feeling and miraculously lightweight, the size makes it easy to pack in any bag next to a notebook. I got the water cups, which fit over and magnet together over the palette perfectly! Due to the depth of the mixing surface lid, the water cups only clip onto the edge next to the paint pans, but that is fine with me. I also got the 3 in one pans, and so I was able to put 18 colors in - the wells aren’t deep, but are nice and wide and easy to get a brush into.
My ONLY suggestion, I would love to have a clip on the bottom of the water cups, so that if the palette is sitting on a table, I could still clip them to the palette and they would feel secure. They are pretty stable standing up on their own, but I can be a little bit of a klutz, and can see myself accidentally knocking them over.
I included a photo of my little tiny painting setup - that’s a 3 x 3 in piece of paper taped down for size comparison.

The pans are very well made, magnets strong. I haven’t used them yet but sizes look perfect for plein air/travel palette when you only need a small amount of certain colour but don’t want to go without. The seller was very responsive and joy to communicate with. The items arrived really quickly as I was a bit pressed for time. Very well packed with personalized note and a few free sampler pans, which was a very nice surprise.

This palette is the perfect size for a smaller kit of paint. It might be small but so well designed that it also provides 4 mixing trays as well as 2 water vessels - when closed, the palette fits into the palm of my hand. I also purchased a set of full pans to have the option of customizing the palette. The half and full pans beautifully interchange. Furthermore, the cat design is lovely. This palette simply makes me happy.

I love granulating paint and now have some of my favorite colors in this slim palette. I like using larger brushes with the granulating colors and the full pans make this very easy. The cat design is lovely and as I love cats, using this palette is a joyful as well as aesthetic experience.

Just what I needed

I love the different options of reusable swatchcards. It's so easy to use them and now I don't have a lot of effort to create the design for swatching and color mixing by myself, more time to play with colors!

Love the option to buy fitting pans with other amount of separation. I bought the mix set and so I can decide how many colors I want in my palette!
