Very nicely made

I saw this palette on the YouTube channels of Emma LeFebre(spelling?) and The Frugal Crafter and just had to give it a try. I’m so glad I did! I’m currently working with a plastic palette which is not ideal. The new palette with the ceramic glazed mixing wells is amazing. It just glides and feels so wonderful! I can wait to order more and love that I can snap new wells into the magnetic base and it feels so substantial in your hands. Thank you AlchemistXJourney for a wonderful product and for getting it to me by Christmas.

I think it is a great product. The magnetic closure is a good idea, one can open the palette easily, but still it stays safely closed. I just got it, did not try anything with colors just yet.

When I travel abroad, I tend to carry a minimalist set of art supplies that will fit in my cargo pocket. I have a small Art Toolkit bag that holds a couple of their Folio palettes loaded with sets of watercolors, which vary depending on where we are heading. This small mixing tray fits nicely in that model. Here is a picture of it in use while I work on some of my Cornwall sketches from our trip to the UK earlier this year. The tray is very well-made, easy to clean, and is perfect for me. It’s definitely making the list for our trip to Italy to paint bell towers this Spring.

The pan size is slightly bigger than a half size, my square brush has an easy time getting paint

I haven’t yet put paint in it but the quality of the materials is excellent I have. O doubt it will be fun to use.

We loved everything about our AlchemistX order, except arguing over who gets the Kuretake palettes. This may only be resolved by ordering more! Great choices and excellent workmanship all around.

We recently ordered several palettes from AlchemistX. The quality of the products is superb and the customer service is even better. I had a question about the AX4 travel palette and used the chat feature on the website last night around 9 pm. I expected a response on Monday, but imagine my surprise when I received an answer with exactly the information I needed within 20 minutes on a Saturday night. This was my first order from Alchemist X, but I’m sure it won’t be my last.
